Campaign Priorities

- Demand an increase in transparency, public access to information, and collaboration with the community
- Decrease the blind focus on standardized tests as the driver for all curricula
- Advocate for universal pre-kindergarten beginning at age three for all children irrespective of socioeconomic category
- Promote Career and Technology programs as options for students who do not wish to attend college
- Provide equal access to all classes by advocating for Distance Learning and eLearning classes for all students
- Promote the access to all Related Arts classes for all children in elementary and middle school
- Collaborate with community stakeholder to “look” at ways to address individual school needs outside the “cookie cutter” approach

When you say “Promote the access to all Related Arts classes for all children in elementary and middle schools” my question is what about high school students?
Just doing research in preparation of my vote and comparing the candidates side by side the clear succinct vision and highlighted priorities reflected easily spoke to my understanding and values as I prepare my child to enter the school system. Your realistic and grounded goals have earned my support.
